Consultation: CfP New Middle Eastern Studies

Call for Papers: 17 May 2012

Sponsor: British Society for Middle Eastern Studies (BRISMES)

Deadline: Submissions accepted on a rolling basis

Registration required? Not applicable

As Religion Editor of New Middle Eastern Studies, the BRISMES journal for graduate students and early-career researchers, I would like to encourage you or your colleagues and students to consider publishing in NMES. In the year since its launch we have set a high standard for contributions, and are looking for similarly high-quality submissions for publication this year.

NMES applies the same peer-review process as other academic journals, but is quicker and more flexible:

So this is a useful tool for young researchers to publish their work rapidly, publish material that might not fit the traditional article format, and get experience of the peer-review process.

Please do pass this on to anyone you think might be interested.
